ALL UNIFORM SHOULD BE NAMED
Our school colour is Red.
All children in Reception Class to Year 6 are required to wear either a red school logo sweatshirt/cardigan or plain red jumper/sweatshirt or cardigan.
White logo polo shirt/plain white polo shirt or plain white shirt/blouse worn tucked in.
Grey/black trousers, shorts or skirt. Shorts and skirts should be to the knee and tailored.
In summer girls may wear red and white check gingham dresses.
Flat black shoes should be worn. In winter months black boots may be worn providing they have a flat heel.
For safety reasons, summer sandals should be the closed toe variety with fitting straps around the back of the heel. Please note that flip-flop type sandals or crocs are not suitable.
A sample selection of school logo uniform including sweatshirts, polo shirts, cardigans, coats, PE kits, book bag, backpack, water bottle etc. are available to view in school please ask at our school reception or alternatively you can pick up an order form or click on the link at the bottom of this page to print one off at home.
No jewellery should be worn except one set of small stud earrings (one in each ear) and a watch. Religious symbols on a chain may be worn under shirts and must be removed for P.E.
No make-up or nail varnish should be worn and radical haircuts (e.g. Mohicans or shaved shapes) are not acceptable. Hair should be your child’s natural colour and long hair should be tied back at all times.
Purchasing School Uniform
Uniform and PE kits can be bought from high street shops and supermarkets. Children do not have to wear uniform with our logo on it. However, if you would like your child to wear uniform with the St. Gregory CEVC Primary School logo on it, it can be bought directly from the school office.

Second-Hand Uniform
St. Gregory CEVC Primary School accept donations of old or unused uniform and the donations are kept in our First Aid room, these are used as spare uniform if a pupil needs to be changed or are offered to any family that is unable to afford to purchase their own uniform.
The lost property box is emptied on a termly basis by the school staff and any unclaimed/unnamed uniform is washed and kept to one side to be offered as free of charge second hand uniform.
