Remote Education Offer

Individual Children Who Are Isolating

The school will provide remote education to children who are self-isolating for 10 days and children who are on the shielded patient list and cannot come to school. This will be the work that their class did the previous day and will sent home in an email including guidance and attachments.

Bubbles Closing And Classes Isolating

In the event that a class has to isolate, the remote learning offer will be the same as it was in lockdown. The class will meet via Zoom at 9.00a.m. or 9.30 a.m. to check in and to be talked through that day’s work. They will be set three Oak Academy or White Rose lessons to complete during the day and then there will be another class meeting at 2.30p.m. or 3.00p.m. to review the day’s learning. Some 1:1 or small group sessions may be take place during the day, led by the class teacher or the class teaching assistant.

Children Who Opt Not To Attend School Or Who Are Absent For Non-COVID-Related Reasons

The school will not provide remote education for children who opt not to attend school or are absent from school with non-COVID related illness.
